Designing Instruction using 21st Century Learning Technologies

The primary focus of this workshop is to plan and design learning and teaching activities using contemporary learning technologies (tools). This will move learning towards 21st century education that create highly engaging learning environment and encourage learner-centred learning. Participants will realise the importance of technology in learning and teaching activities at the same time able to map it with learning outcomes and Blooms taxonomy of learning domain.

Upon completing of this workshop participants should be able to:

  • Comprehend and state the importance of blended learning environment and technology in education.
  • Apply chosen instructional design theory into contemporary 21st learning technologies (tools) for learning and teaching strategies.
  • Plan and design instruction using appropriate learning tools based on the chosen theory of instruction.

Designed for higher learning educators, corporate trainers and administrators in education or training institutions who want are planning to enhance the quality of learning, teaching and facilitation skills.

This one day training programme is to be conducted from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Participants must have basic competencies in using internet based applications.
