How to enrol for CFP course and Examination CFP logo

Information and instructions on how to enrol for Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Certification programme with KMDC, the leading education provider of CFP programme in Malaysia:

A. Enrol for CFP Courses (for first timer)

Step 2. Registration & Payment (5 options)

Option 1: Make a Visit to KMDC Business Office (actually, you do not have to visit us, just choose other options)

Visit KMDC Business Office; submit Application Form and other documents (FPAM Trade Member Registration Form, your business card or employer's letter, academic documents) and make payment in cash or cheque or credit card.

You have several other options to register and make payment offline without having to make your way to our business office:

Option 2: Credit Card Payment via fax or mail
Download KMDC Applicaiton Form and authorise KMDC to charge your credit card.
Complete the form and fax or mail this form to KMDC.

Option 3: Cheque Payment via mail
Complete Application Form and mail the form together with your cheque (pay to KDU Management Development Centre Sdn. Bhd.) to the following address:

Option 4: Deposit cheque or cash into KMDC's Maybank account

Once payment is made, simply write your name onto the bank-in slip, then fax this slip together with Application Form to KMDC at +603 7712 3366.

Option 5: KMDC New SMS Service
The Hassle Free way for Checking Information OR for Enrolment.

Here is how the SMS service works:

A. Enrolment:
1. Check the CFP schedule, choose the venue (KL or PJ) and the class code (e.g.
Module 4 Saturday sessions, the class code is 402)
2. SMS KMDC,
Example 1:

Example 2:

About payment, you may fax the Authorisation Form for Credit Card Payment to 03-7712 3366 or submit it to our staff on the first day of your class. However, if you wish to enjoy the Early Bird Promotion, then payment has to be settled on or before the due date of each stage. KMDC will reply to you to confirm your enrolment via email or phone and or SMS.

B. Re-Admission (For returning learning members only)

Download this form: KMDC CFP Re-Admission Form & check our latest KL & PJ schedule (two centres: PJ Uptown & KL Downtown) .
Complete and send or fax the Re-admission form to KMDC at +603 7712 3366. Tel: +603-7712 3388, +6012-3989030

OR SMS KMDC (refer to Option 5 above)

C. Registration for Examination

Please note: registration for examination can be done at a later stage, i.e. after you have commenced the CFP course but before the examination registration deadline.

Examination: 2 examination sittings per year (June & December)
Closing Date: Mid April (for June examination) and Mid October (for December examination)
Closing date for exemptions (Option 2 & 3) - Mid March & Mid September
Examination fee payable to FPAM: RM300.00 per sitting (employees of Charter Member of FPAM: RM200)

D. Application for Modular Exemption or Challenge Status (if applicable)

If qualified, you may apply for modular exemption or Challenge Status. Download the appropriate information and form(s) then submit to FPAM or via KMDC:
