Raymond Foong has extensive experience in project management by bringing people together for better performance. His Directive Communication based training creates practical and result oriented workplace environments grounded in interdepartmental and inter-team cohesion, which fosters cooperation and competence across organization.
For more than a decade, Raymond has worked with organizations at all levels, in particular middle management in handling small and big projects alike. He knows the pitfalls that result in projects failure and unfulfilling objectives. Some of the notable projects worth millions were automated storage system for a reputable airline company and several stores and warehouses throughout Malaysia.
Raymond’s career include the positions of Foreman to Asst. Process Engineer, Senior Quality Executive, Logistics & Technical Manager, Project Manager, Head of Companies, and Director to two companies, prior to become a full time Consultant and Trainer.
Raymond has about 15 years of training experience in the Technical and Administrative management fields. He conducts regular trainings like Managerial, Executive development & Supervisory management, Store & Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, Purchasing & Negotiation Skills, Supply Chain Management, Leadership, Train the Trainers program , Kaizen for Continuous Improvements, Customer Service & Handling Customer Complaints and Time & Stress Management, Cohesive Team Competency, KPIs via DC methodology, Productivity Psychology, Psychology in Super Project Management, Quality Team in Project Management and Team Building programs.
He is accredited by the American Institute of Business Psychology and certified by Directive Communication as a Certified Trainer and Partner. He is also a certified trainer by the Malaysian Human Resource Development body, with certification number TTT/0185. In addition, Raymond is certified by the Asian Experiential Educational Alliance (AEEA), Australia in training facilitation. He holds a Workplace Training (Category 1) certificate by the Department of Education Training and Employment, Australia.
He has trained many companies ranging from SMI to MNCs including Matsushita, Empress Hotel, Canon, Gardenia, Multimedia University, RHB Bank, GM Corporations, Maltecorp, Saxonia, Asian Composite Manufacturers, Vesuvius KSR, the Tylon Group, JKR, TNB, Bank Negara, Continental Sime, Malaysia Packaging, Emirates Marina Hotel, Dubai, Postal Services, Singapore and many others.
Raymond Foong’s foundation is in mechanical engineering and holds an MBA in General Management from the University of Bath, UK. He also holds a post graduate diploma in management from MIM, a diploma in Information Technology from Informatics and a certificate in Quality Control from City & Guilds, London. He is also a certified Lead Assessor by the International Quality Consultant, UK. He is also a graduate of Mastery University, a foundation owned by Anthony Robins.
