Mr. Andrew Kok Keng Siong is currently the Executive Director of SQ Corporate Services Sdn Bhd, a professional consulting firm providing taxation and business advisory services. As an approved Tax Agent and a practicing Chartered Secretary, he has more than 15 years of wide and diversified working experience involving in tax advisory, tax compliance and business advisory services.
Andrew Kok conducts taxation training programs on a regular basis and has been lecturing in a local university and various colleges specialising in taxation papers for professional examinations. He is also a moderator for the subject “Malaysian Taxation” for an examination conducted by a UK Professional Association.
Andrew graduated with an Honours Degree in Accountancy and a professional qualification in Chartered Secretaryship from the UK. He is a Certified Member of the Financial Planning Association of Malaysia and holds a Masters Degree in Financial Planning. He is a Fellow Member of both the Malaysian Institute Of Taxation and the Institute Of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, and had served in the Council of these two institutes.

Mr. Azhar Iskandar Hew is the General Manager of Rockwills Trustee Berhad and holds the Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree from the University of London. He is a Director of Rockwills Advisory Services Sdn Bhd, a licensed financial planning company under the Capital Market and Services Act 2007. He has more than 13 years experience in the estate planning industry as a will & trust specialist, trainer and conference speaker. Over the years he has trained more than 6,000 people primarily from leading financial institutions and life insurance companies as well as financial planners in Malaysia, Hong Kong and Singapore.
He is approved by Securities Industry Development Centre (SIDC) as a facilitator to conduct estate planning trust planning training and is an Estate Planning Trainer for Certified Financial Planning (CFP) as well as a Certified Registered Financial Planner (RFP) Trainer by the Malaysian Financial Planning Council (MFPC) for the Estate Planning module of the Registered Financial Planner course.
His current scope of work includes advising on legal aspects and compliance and advisory matters regarding Estate Planning, Private Trust and Corporate Trust services. He contributes regularly to Smart Investor and Malaysian Business on the area of Estate Planning and Private Trust.”

Mr. Azman Ismail brings with him 25 years experience in takaful and Islamic financial planning. He is a pioneer in the first two takaful companies in Malaysia and has worked in the IT, marketing, personnel and administration of the departments of the first takaful company and was the Assistant General Manager of the second takaful company. He has also been a Manager, IT, Operations and Actuarial Department of a life insurance company. Since leaving Takaful Nasional in 1996, he has provided training/consultancy services in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Brunei and presented papers at international levels in Kuala Lumpur, Manama, New York, Tokyo, Brunei, Singapore, Cairo, London, Milan and Taipei. Most of the takaful and insurance companies in Malaysia have sought his expertise. Among government and related institutions, he has conducted training at the PNB Investment Institute, The Malaysian Insurance Institute, Central Bank Malaysia, Institut Latihan Islam Malaysia (ILIM) and Institut Latihan Kehakiman dan Perundangan (ILKAP) among others.
Azman is one of the founders of the Islamic Financial Planning Certificate (IFPC) program back in 2002, now formalized as of FPAM practice modules. He was a key trainer as well as examiner of this program at various private institutions. His involvement in the development of the Islamic Financial Planner (IFP) has been from its inception until today.
He is a part-time lecturer for the Master in Banking and Finance (MIBF) program at the Institute of Islamic Banking and Finance (IIiBF), International Islamic University Malaysia. He has written four books (co-author) and has also successfully written a textbook for Part II of the Certified Islamic Finance Practitioner (CIFP) program commissioned by the International Centre for Education in Islamic Finance (INCEIF) and conducted research on Alternative Models of Takaful for the International Shariah Research Academy (ISRA). He is also a member of the Takaful Development Committee, Chartered Insurance Institute, London where he developed the syllabus for the takaful module. He was a Director for Malaysia for the Life Underwriter Training Council (LUTC), Bethesda, Maryland, USA.
He is also a Member of the Information Panel, Amanah Raya Berhad, the Public Trustee of Malaysia.

Mr. Benson Ooi was attached with the Ministry of Justice as a Court Interpreter for 9 years since 1987. During the tenure of his appointment he has served in Magistrate, Session and High Courts of Johor Baru, Georgetown and Kuala Lumpur.
In 1996, he left for Queensland, Australia to complete his law studies. He was conferred with the LLB Degree by Bond University in December, 1997. He joined the Malaysian Bar in December, 1998 and had since then joined M/S. IQBAL HAKIM SIA & VOO (JOHOR BAHRU) as the Head of Litigation Department. His scope of work includes the operation and management of the said department, attending to Civil Litigation, Industrial Relations, Arbitration and also consultation for corporate matters.
In year 2002 he joined Great Vision Wealth Planners Sdn Bhd, an associate company under the wing of ING Insurance Bhd as their Legal Advisor and Consultant. He obtained CFP from FPAM in 2002 and in 2003 he was conferred DSLP post-graduate Diploma in Syariah Law & Practice by International Islamic, University of Malaysia and was working as Independent Advisor for ING Insurance's Teamwork Agency Penang. Currently, he is the State Manager of SFP (Northern Region Malaysia) and part-time CFP facilitator.

Mr. Elwin Lau is a principal consultant to AllRisks Management Sdn Bhd providing risk management including financial planning to both individual and business owners. He has been in financial services industry for over 25 years and held various management positions in insurance industry prior to practicing financial planning. He obtained his Bachelor of Science (Honours) from University of London, United Kingdom and Master of Financial Planning from University of Sunshine Coast, Australia.
He conducts regular training for CFP professional financial planning and technical life insurance organized by the Malaysian Insurance Institute. He is a regular trainer to various institutions and has conducted training in major companies like Maybank, CIMB, AmAssurance, Asia Life and private companies. He is a certified trainer and train the trainer to Malaysian Insurance Institute and RFP professional program. He is also the moderator and examiner to RFP program.
Elwin is a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) from American College and also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) of the Financial Planning Association of Malaysia, Registered Financial Planner (RFP) of Malaysian Financial Planning Council, and a Certified Insurance Professional (CIP) and senior associate to Australia and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance.

Ms. Eng Meei Yu is currently Director and Principal Consultant for MyFP Services
Sdn Bhd, a licensed financial planning company by Securities Commission, providing
comprehensive and independent advice. In addition to consulting with and servicing
MyFP’s clients, she is responsible for advisory standards, Financial Planning tool
developments, operations & administration for the company. She is also the Director
of Business Support for Independent Financial Planners Network (iFPN), a platform
that provides advisory and financial planning tools to professional companies needing
support to offer financial planning and advisory services in affiliation with iFPN. She
is a well known lecturer and trainer in the field of financial planning and regularly
lectures for the CFP Program.
Ms. Eng obtained her B. Sc. (Hons.) in Mathematics and Computing from Queen Mary
College, University of London. She is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). She
has over 10 years experience in banking, specialising in the development and
marketing of retail financial services with in-depth exposure in bank loans and
deposit products, unit trusts, insurance, electronic distribution channels and various
other financial related services. Subsequently, she gained experience in a foreign
controlled life insurance company where she was a key member of the team that
developed alternative distribution channels and bancassurance.

Mr Haznan is currently pursuing a PhD majoring in Business Management specializing in human behaviour towards saving. Prior to that, he has undergone various types of professions from engineering, television productions, marketing, insurance and lecturing.
He was previously attached to a government subsidiary and was posted overseas for several years i.e.: UK, Japan and Indonesia, for various assignments and duties but left soon after to concentrate on his business partnership and family.
He has been lecturing financial planning (both conventional and Islamic) at various financial institutions and companies in Malaysia and abroad, and provide consultation to various training agencies since early 2000. His passion for financial planning and the education of it has enabled him to provide a holistic view and approach to personal financial management.

Ms Maznita's professional career began as a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) trained in the UK. Her corporate experience included corporate finance with PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PWC) and
ASTRO, and then film production management with ASTRO’s subsidiary. Her exposure in the field of financial planning began as a unit trust agent and takaful agent in 2002, focusing specifically
on Islamic financial products. Once she obtained the CFP, she co-founded IIFIN Planners Sdn Bhd in 2003 providing clients with independent as well as Islamic financial services and the full range of products, including Islamic wills and estate planning. Equipped with the IFP (Islamic
Financial Planner by FPAM/IBFIM) and the CIFP (Chartered Islamic Finance Professional by
(INCEIF) qualifications, IIFIN’s professional services have evolved from retail of financial products
to the wider scope of Islamic Finance consultancy and advisory, serving corporate clientele and organizations.
Maznita is an active practitioner in the Islamic Financial Planning industry. She has been a
speaker for a number of wealth management seminars, not limited to client corporations. In terms of consultancy/training experience, Maznita is not only an Islamic Finance trainer for a number of corporations, but also a module writer-cum-trainer-cum-examiner of the IFP certification. She started her working life in secretarial & administration for 8 years with CH Williams Talhar & Wong and Thomas Cook Travellers Cheques. 4 years in sales with Bristol-Myers Squibb qualifying for all incentive trips and 6 years in sales & marketing management with Tamco Electrical & Electronics. She has an in-depth knowledge in the workings and challenges a company and employees will face.
Mr. Looi Ming Foo is a Certified Financial Planner and holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the International Management Center, Buckingham, U. K.
Looi began his career in D & C Bank (now RHB Bank Berhad) in 1978. He later joined an advertising firm as Accounts Assistant. During his tenure with the advertising firm, he was instrumental in developing and implementing financial systems for the firm besides managing the accounting and finance of the Company. He later rose through the ranks to become the Group Financial Controller and Company Secretary of the advertising group of companies which had become the country’s top advertising agency group with billings exceeding RM120 million.
Together with his wife, Looi ventured into the Life Insurance industry in 1993 as financial planning was his forte and passion. Together they managed an agency with several agents working with them. During this time, he has trained and coached several life insurance agents in sales. They also helped their clients in arranging insurance coverage for their property and liability risks.
Looi is currently the Divisional Director of AAO Pana Insurance Brokers Sdn Bhd (formerly known as RHB Insurance Brokers Sdn Bhd), being primarily responsible for the Corporate Services Division as well as being actively involved in business development for the Company.

Mr. Yap Kam Cheng holds a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) from the Manchester Polytechnic, England and a post-graduate qualification in Business Administration from the Aston Business School in Birmingham, England. He is also an accredited Certified Financial Planner.
He started his career in 1982 with a local merchant bank and was involved in corporate advisory, lending, project financing and investment activities.
He joined an international insurance company in 1987 as Head of the Investment Department. His primary responsibility was in securing a broad diversification to the insurance investment portfolio and shifting emphasis on asset allocations to meet actuarial requirements. Insurance assets under his management included government securities, corporate bonds, equities, mortgage loans, landed properties and offshore investments.
Mr Yap subsequently joined a company listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia with interests in property development, bulk storage handling, hotels and food franchising business – in 1990 as General Manager, Business Development. He has been posted to different subsidiaries to improve their respective operating efficiencies. In 1994, he successfully led a mineral processing subsidiary to achieve the first ISO 9002 status for an ultra-fine micronising company in Malaysia.
In addition to lecturing for the Certified Financial Planning programme, Mr Yap occasionally lectures for the Certified Financial Analyst (Level 1) course.

Mr. Mohd Zahidi Ahmad Zahidi Ahmad, has been involved in a miscellany of fields, from agriculture activities, water quality engineering, Islamic estate planning, Islamic financial planning and lecturing. He is now pursuing his Master of Muamalat in Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, specializing in the field of Muamalat (Islamic business transaction). Currently, he lectures on several modules of the Islamic Financial Planner Program, especially in the Islamic Investment, Islamic Estate and Waqf, as well as the comprehensive plan construction modules. And recently, together with Efficient Frontier Capital Advisor Sdn Bhd. (a licensed company in financial planning) has founded Ar-Rayyan Wealth Management; a provider of Islamic wealth management advisory to the retail market.
Zahidi’s interest in financial planning began after he involved in Islamic will writing back in 2004. After 3 years of entering the industry, he equipped himself by registering as the pioneer group of the Islamic Financial Planner (IFP) program. Within six months in the program, he was absorbed into Financial Planning Association of Malaysia (FPAM) as member of the committee running the Islamic Financial Planner (IFP) program. He graduated from Islamic Financial Planner (IFP) program together with the first batch of IFPs and later became the Program Manager of IFP in FPAM until August 2010. Besides lecturing and consulting, he is also involved in a couple of financial planning providers with two main objectives; to provide clients with independent advisory as well as Islamic financial services and products, and to develop and facilitate the growth of Islamic Financial Planners in the local industry.
