Ng Boon How graduated with a MBA form University of Dubuque, Iowa in 1998, and later moved on to Australia where he completed his studies in Information Technology and E-Commerce, and graduated with Master of Information Technology and Master of Commerce (E-Commerce) from University of Queensland in 2001. 

Ng’s teaching experience begins earlier, since 1985, teaching students in Malaysia. He was a journalist then and has a wide experience in teaching students of different backgrounds and culture. He has taught various subjects in the areas of Malaysian Studies and journalism in earlier days. Later, after he returned from Australia after completing his postgraduate studies, he joined FTMS-De Montfort University Malaysia campus and taught management and e-commerce subjects, including Marketing, Business Organisation and Electronic Commerce. He was also involved in research and editing the course materials for various subjects such as Management Information Systems, E-Commerce, Marketing Management, Internet Marketing, Strategic Management, and Organisational Behaviour. He took the lead role in designing and introducing two new diploma programmes, namely Marketing and Information Systems before he joins KDU Management Development Centre (KMDC).

At KMDC, he manages the overall conduct, administrative and quality aspects for all programmes: - postgraduate programmes, ICT courses, various short courses which included management skills and corporate training that offered at the multiple locations of KMDC’s operation.  He has also managed and developed financial planning programme, CFP (Certified Financial Planning Certification) since 2003; and now KMDC is the leading education provider of CFP in Malaysia.

He has a wide exposure in different countries and cultural background as he traveled extensively and had studied or went for training in various countries, including USA, Europe, Japan and Australia.

  • Master of Business Administration, University of Dubuque, Iowa, USA.
  • Master of Information Technology, University of Queensland, Australia.
  • Master of Commerce (E-Commerce), University of Queensland, Australia.
  • Lecturer in E-Commerce, Marketing, and Management courses.
  • Lecturer in Malaysian Society Studies and Journalism courses in mid eighties till early nineties.
  • Senior journalist and later Chief Sub-editor of a Chinese language daily, Nanyang Siang Pau, from mid nineties to late nineties.
  • Programmes Manager, KDU Management Development Centre, Kuala Lumpur, heading full time and part-time academic and administrative staff.
