This workshop looks at effective ways to coach your employees and increase their productivity as well helping them realise their true potential.
Setting goals and building relationships sits at the core of effective coaching. How well you coach relates directly to how well you are able to foster a great working relationship with your employees.
At the end of this workshop, delegates will be able to:
- Coach colleagues with greater confidence and purpose
- Understand the role of a mentor and identify your readiness for this responsibility
- Able to use the GROW model with a high-comfort level and efficacy in both coaching and mentoring contexts
- Able to use the SMART concept to develop goals efficacy in both coaching and mentoring contexts
- Understand how personalities & communication styles can create conflict, and learn how to adapt their styles to a productive coaching/mentoring outcome
- Have had the opportunity to develop and practice their skills in a supportive environment, and receive feedback and skill-coaching on their performance

Trainer: Vigneswaran Applasamy
Mr. Vigneswaran Applasamy has been involved in lecturing, research, management, sales and training for more than 14 years in the field of Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing sector, Higher Education, Sales and Marketing. He is a Certified HRDF Trainer. In addition, he has been accredited by Harisson Assessment in Employee Development, completed Emotional Energy Management Trainer Course and attended Gamification and Behavioural Design workshop by Yu-kai Chou.
Although he holds a Masters’ Degree in Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, his passion has been to understand the Mind-Body connection and Human Psychology where he has been conducting extensive research. His articles since have been cited 32 times by other international authors in their respective publications.
His professional career begun in Singapore as a Sales Engineer and later ventured into the Higher Education sector in Malaysia. He has served as a Vice Principal of a college and moved on to lecture and undertake research in a leading private University where he was noted for his publications in International Conferences. This was also the period where he ventured into corporate training as an Associate Trainer for Topesh Consultancy and Training Services PLT beginning 2011. He has since worked with a few other training providers.
He has since developed over 30 training programmes in the area of Soft-Skills.
