This module explores communications before digital marketing became widespread. You will examine how communications have developed over time, the limitations of traditional channels and how digital channels can be integrated with traditional methods to achieve greater results.
The digital communications module builds upon the traditional communications module and explores the digital approach to audience engagement. You will be shown how digital communications are measurable and affords you the opportunity to analyze and develop your digital marketing strategy as it grows.
This module explores both the advantages, disadvantages and suitability of various channels available to anyone looking to develop a digital marketing campaign. You will know SEO, PPC, email marketing, social media marketing and digital display advertising amongst other concepts so you have the knowledge to implement them as part of a digital marketing strategy.
Social Customer Service
The Social Customer Service module investigates social customer service, peer to peer communities and how online technologies can prove critically important to not only maintaining but also growing your business online.

The Specialist Diploma in Digital Strategy and Planning costs RM6,678 to study online or RM6,996 for a 6-day instructor-led workshop with online support, excluding examination fee USD$200.
Digital Marketing Institute (DMI) qualifications are world class. We offer courses in over 80 countries and are courses are recognized by the Scottish Qualifications Authority. This allows you to take your Digital Marketing Institute qualification with you, no matter where your exciting career may take you.
The Specialist Diploma in Digital Strategy and Planning is assessed by one three hour exam; these are administered by our computer-based testing partner, Pearson Vue, via its global network of test centers. The exam is split into three sections; candidates need to achieve a minimum of 60% in each section to pass the exam.
Your examination fee for first time sitting is USD$200 and it is not included in the course fee. The candidate pay examination fee directly to Pearson VUE when you book your online examination. The subsequent re-sits due to failed attempts will incur a fee of approximately USD$75 or local currency equivalent payable directly to the center when you book your examination.
The next intake will commence on March 3, 2018. Full day on Saturday, 6 times weekly from 9am to 5pm at KDU Glenmarie Campus, Shah Alam. There will be 48-hour instructor-led workshop plus 30-hour online video and e-learning support.
You may also opt for Study Online with 30-hour online video plus e-learning support, and commence anytime that is convenient for you.
